Baams Away – Review
Baams Away is an Android arcade game by Bearded Eye, a mobile-gaming company created by two brothers: Colin and Zach Krausnick. It’s a game about blowing up sheep.
The controls are simple, you have to touch the screen to throw a variety of bombs and alike.
The interest of the game is that you can create chain reactions by blowing some special sheep who will in turn blow some other sheep, etc. Among them: rocket sheep, explosive sheep, firework sheep… Chain reactions are the way to save your ammunition and score high!
The game offers 3 worlds each made of 15 levels. After level 5-6 of world 1, I felt the game missed some novelty and started being repetitive. However, some nicely designed levels soften that afterward.
The game also offers a special “Arcarde” mode, where you have to stay alive for as long as possible, killing daemons while protecting an angel sheep. I found it the most addictive mode.
You then need to use wool to unlock world 2 and 3. To get this wool, you have to pay, do some actions (like download other games) or play a crazy amount of time.
On the down side, I felt the music isn’t appropriate and that sheep graphics should have been little more detailled.
Anyway, check it out, it’s a funny game!
